As the end of 2019 draws near, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support this year.
In 2019 so far we’ve helped more than 33,000 local people to find a way forward. We’ve helped people to claim benefits they’re entitled to, including Universal Credit. We’ve supported people to help themselves out of debt; to secure new, safe housing for their families or to remain in their homes; to tackle immigration problems; to challenge consumer issues; to recognise and avoid scams, and much more.
We’ve contributed towards local and national campaigns, notably against unfair practices by bailiffs. We’re working with other Citizens Advices to ensure Universal Credit support is effective for people across Sussex and Surrey, and we’re contributing to social prescribing projects which benefit both local people and GPs.
We couldn’t have done any of this without our wonderful volunteers and staff, so to them we say a huge thank you!
